Saying goodbye to Summer

It's always so hard for me to say goodbye to summer.

I had a feeding frenzy of many hummingbirds for a couple of weeks and then poof they were all gone. I guess it was time to fly south. Don't you just love the fancy tail on this hummer. I wish it was in better focus but hummingbirds are so hard to photograph.

It's been a while since I posted on my blog. I'm kind of in an end of summer funk. Very quiet around here. What to do with my life? If any of you have some good suggestions please leave a comment.
